PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - Tuesday, April 7, 2009 - PGR Member Gary Maddux

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The family of PGR member Gary Maddux has asked that the Patriot Guard
participate in the final services for this veteran, fellow PGR member and
good friend to all of the riders in the North Texas Patriot Guard.  Gary's
wishes were to have PGR participation when he passed.

 

Information known at this time is that a visitation will be held on Sunday,
April 5, 2009 between 4:00 and 6:00 PM at the Lynch Funeral Service, located
at 4238 Hwy 34 South, Greenville, TX, 75402.  The funeral service will be
held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at 11:00 AM at the Southwood Christian
Church, located at 1304 Jack Finney (FM1570), Greenville, TX with interment
to follow at DFW National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.

 

A final itinerary is being developed and will be published as soon as it is
available.

 

Gary's death is a tragic loss for the PGR and I know you join me in sending
our best wishes to his family during this very difficult time.

 

We have been told by the family that Gary was on Highway 78 near Blue Ridge,
Texas at about 8:30 PM when a pick-up truck pulled out in front of him,
causing Gary to crash into the side of the truck and that Gary was killed at
the scene of the accident.
