Mr. Vincent Jay Feuerborn, a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander, passed
away Friday, January 30, 2009. Mr. Feuerborn joined the U.S. Navy and
received numerous awards including the Bronze Star and three Navy
Commendation Medals, both with combat "V". After retirement from the U.S.
Navy, he graduated from Texas Southern University in 2004 with a doctor of
jurisprudence.
Part 1 - Funeral: Monday, February 9, 2009 - 10:00 AM
Staging - 8:30 AM; Briefing - 9:00 AM

After the briefing we will set up our flag line and stand tall and silent as
the family and guests arrive and leave the Church. The service should last
about an hour. After the service we will break down the flag line and
prepare to move to part two of the mission.
Part 2 - Greenwood Funeral Home: Monday, February 9, 2009
Staging - 11:30 AM. We will leave from the funeral home at Noon for DFW
National Cemetery.

After the church service everyone will proceed on their own to the funeral
home to prepare for the procession to the cemetery. Cookies and such will
be served at the funeral home and we are invited to attend. The funeral
home is 2.09 miles or about 5 minutes from the church.
PGR will ride in the funeral procession from the funeral home to DFW
National Cemetery for the interment service. There will not be a police
escort or escort company used on this mission. There will be a briefing at
the funeral home to ensure everyone is aware of the laws and road safety.
Part 3 - Interment Service: Monday, February 9, 2009 - 1:00 PM
Staging: 12:30 PM awaiting the procession to arrive at approximately 12:45
PM.

On arrival at the cemetery, big flag bikes will remain at the visitor center
with the procession and remaining bikes will proceed to the area below
shelter A to assist with preparations for the service. A short briefing may
be provided at that location.
For anyone who will not be able to attend Parts 1 and/or 2 of the service,
please be at the parking area below shelter area (shelter A) of the cemetery
no later than 12:30 PM and ready to begin preparing the area for Mr.
Feuerborn's service as soon as possible following the service immediately
before his.
We will use the flags in storage at the shelter for this part of the
mission.
Weather: Scattered thunderstorms and 76 degrees with a 40% chance of rain.
The flag/water truck will be at all three parts of the mission.
Iron horses if you can, cages are always welcome and appreciated. (Please
use your best judgment regarding the weather. Your Safety is number one.)
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall, silent, and with honor
and respect for this veteran and his family.
