PGR_NTX Patriot Guard For any and all who may be able to attend

Mission Information For North Texas PGR mission at txpgr.org
Thu Jan 8 19:27:54 CST 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I received the message below, included in its entirety, this afternoon after
returning home from the mission for Mr. Dummer. We are, unfortunately,
unable to put together a mission for this service due to the time frame
involved and I have responded to Mr. Buck. I told Mr. Buck that I would
relay his message to our entire mailing list and encourage any PGR member
not already occupied to please consider attending Mr. Lee's service. If
anyone is available to participate I know it would be greatly appreciated by
the family and the riders from the other organizations who plan to
participate. Mr. Lee was not only a member of the Greatest Generation but
was obviously one of "us" with 75 years of riding under his belt. I also
assured Mr. Buck that Mr. Lee's service would be prominently mentioned at
our mission briefing tomorrow and I would ask that Mr. Lee and his family be
mentioned in our prayer as well. I know that those of us who will be at Mr.
Martin's mission will also be riding for Mr. Lee as well.

Please see Mr. Buck's message below and consider participating if you are
able. Farmersville is East of McKinney on Highway 380.

Thank you.

Steve Lucas

Deputy State Captain

North Texas PGR

I received this request late last night, I sent it to one of the auto email
blast and it came back.

I sent out the request out to my fellow CVMA riders, some who ride with the
North Texas Patriot

Guard. Ike said he was busy, but gave me the email chain of command.

There are three from CVMA riding, two from VFW Post 3480 Plano and I heard
the American Legion Post Plano was putting riders along VFW Post 7426
riders.

Would you mind email blasting this out to those riders who can get away to
ride with us. I know the family would appreciate a show of strength from
the Riders and Veterans. Sorry for any last minute notification and a
conflict with prior commitment by North Texas Patriot Guard.

James "Jimmy" Lee was an Army Air Corp Veteran WWII and motorcycle pioneer
with 75 years riding up until the end. Staging area is the VFW Post 7426
Farmersville on Hwy 380 past the Hwy 78 loop at 11:00 AM Friday 9th, 2009.

Veteran Lee is at the Fielder Baker Funeral Home, Farmersville; viewing
Thursday 8th 5-7:00 PM.

Funeral will held at IOOF Cemetery in Farmersville at 12:00 PM on Friday
9th.

VFW Post 7426 of Farmersville is paying its respects to a fellow comrade and
rider. If you have any questions contact the VFW Post 7426 or Fielder Baker
Funeral Home.

Thank you

Fred Buck
