PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - Private First Class Peter Couch

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

We have just received word that the family of Private First Class Peter
Couch of Fort Worth has requested the PGR to participate in the final
services for this soldier, killed last Friday when his vehicle overturned in
Afghanistan.  At the present time, Private First Class Couch is in Dover and
funeral/burial plans have not yet been made.  His father will serve as his
escort.

Again - there is no information to be had as to when/where he will arrive or
when/where his services and burial will take place.  As of just a few
minutes ago those decisions had not yet been made.  It has been confirmed,
though, that the family has requested that the PGR be present.  It may also
be of interest that Private First Class Couch was a member of the 10th
Mountain Division.  It is their Commanding General who gave us the quote
only a short time ago that "The Patriot Guard is always there."
