Euless Trinity High School
Mission Date; May 20, 2009
Ride Captain:

Gold Star Mother Kei Torres, mom of the late Corporal Jason K. LaFleur,
Killed in Action on August 4, 2007 in Hawr Rajab, Iraq, and her sister, Ms.
Marsha Brown of Euless Trinity High School have invited the North Texas PGR
to participate in an event on May 20, 2009 at 4:30 PM at the High School.
The students are holding a memorial for all of the members of our Armed
Forces who have fallen in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have painted sticks
with the names of all of the fallen on them and those will be placed on the
West lawn of the High School and will remain there through the Memorial Day
holiday for all to see.
The ceremony will consist of, in part, the Euless Fire Department posting
the Colors, Mayors from the surrounding cities have been invited to speak,
the students and the community have been asked to attend, and a featured
speaker has been scheduled. We have been asked to provide a flag line for
this event as these young people honor our American Patriots and Heroes.
What a great way to show support for these students who are also standing
for those who stood for us.
