PGR_NTX Patriot Guard Confirmed Mission - Veterans Day - Guyer High School, Denton, TX

[Mission Information For North Texas PGR]

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

The faculty, staff and students at Guyer High School in Denton have asked
the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders to join them on Veterans Day, November
11, 2009, at Guyer High School for a flag raising ceremony to commemorate
Veterans Day and to celebrate  and recognize all veterans in attendance.  We
have been asked to provide a flag line at the ceremony, which will take
place outside, at the flag pole in front of the school.  The Guyer High
School Jr. ROTC program will be conducting the ceremonies and will be
greeting all veterans assembled.

 

The ceremony is scheduled to begin, tentatively, at 8:30AM and last for
approximately 20 to 30 minutes.  Additional details in the form of a final
itinerary will be provided when details are completed.

 

While the PGR is being called upon for many special events on or around
Veterans Day that should surprise none of us, since honoring our nation's
veterans is a primary goal of our organization.  I hope that as many riders
as possible will put this event on their calendar as we don't often get to
go to Denton and show our appreciation in that area.

 

Thank you for all you do as ambassadors for the PGR in your every day life
and for the honor, dignity and comfort you provide the families during the
missions.
