Obituary: 
Walters, Lester A. Age 81, of Balch Springs, Tx, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 14, 2010, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 19, 1928. Les was a WWII veteran of the Army/Air Corps. He served as a gunner and a medic. His first love was his Harley Davidson. He rode till he had his stroke. He was a member of American Legion #504, and a Master Mason at Aubrey E. Hope #1446. A very devoted husband, father. He is preceded in death by his parents, He is survived by his wife of 26yrs., Betty Jo Walters, daughter Patricia Walters, son Lester F. Walters, 3 adopted daughters Tina & Tara Chappell, and Diamond Serna. Step-son Tommy Turner and step-daughter Lara Sonntag. 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grand children and numerous nices and nephews. Service will be held on Jan. 30, 2010 at the Calvary Chapel, 1546 Rowlett Rd. Garland, Tx at 2:00p.m..
