am completely surprised by this message and had no inkling of any sort that it

want to advise you that I will be stepping down as your State Captain effective
May 1st. When I took this position last August, I had planned on serving
a one year term, but personal issues require that I move my retirement up to
May 1st. It has been an honor serving you. The Deputy State Captain
position in Texas is usually the first contact point between the families and
the PGR so please continue the excellent work you have done in your
positions. When national selects a new State Captain, please give him/her
your full support.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

will continue to be a PGR member and you never know when you will see me
standing a flag line. I also will still be able to attend the Gathering

assistant, Bill "Rotorhead" Holcomb has informed me that he will also
