first Vietnam Wall replica ever created into Pilot Point, TX on Wednesday
morning, May 7, 2009. The staging area and time for staging have not yet
been determined. This will be scheduled when we know exactly where the
truck and personnel will be staying overnight prior to coming into Pilot
Point. For those not familiar with Pilot Point, it is located just
Northeast of Denton in Denton County. The wall is scheduled to arrive at
the square in Pilot Point at 8:30 AM so this will be an early morning ride for
many. I have pasted below a release from the organizers concerning this
particular soldier’s memorial and web sites are included if you would
like additional information. I have also attached a document that
includes the information below and a schedule of events for Pilot Point and a
list of items that the local organizers are still looking for to help them with
this event.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
