padding:0in'>In 1943, Mr. Jordan enlisted in the United States Army in Company
K, 405<sup>th</sup> Regiment, 102<sup>nd</sup> Infantry Division and entered
the ETO in 1944 as a Corporal – Rifleman. Upon honorable discharge
with 2 Bronze Stars, a Purple Heart Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, 2 European-African
Middle Eastern Medals and several other decorations he attended Hillsboro
Junior College, Ohio State University and SMU and graduated with a degree in
Electrical Engineering in 1949.<span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormalCxSpMiddle style='margin-bottom:12.0pt;border:none;
padding:0in'><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormalCxSpMiddle style='margin-bottom:12.0pt;border:none;
padding:0in'>He served as an Electronic Aerospace Engineer all over the country
and helped develop the guidance system for the Saturn 5 Rockets used in all of
the Apollo space missions. During 1964 and ’65 he performed the
production engineering and coordinated the fabrication and test of the control
electronics of the OSO and Mariner satellites which are, as we speak, still on
their way to the outer limits of our Solar System gathering and transmitting
information.<o:p></o:p></p>

service only with a private burial being held in another city. We will
stand a flag line prior to the service, break during the service and then
resume the flag line at the conclusion of the service. Mr. Jordan is the
father of a fellow PGR member, Curt “Cujo” Jordan of the East Texas
PGR.<span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto'>For those attending the meet
and greet prior to the mission and wanting to ride as a group to the Christian
Care Center Chapel, we should be leaving somewhere prior to 1:30 PM, allowing
for flexibility due to weather conditions. For those not attending the
meet and greet or those wishing to go to the staging area on your own…we
have been instructed to park in the welcome center parking lot and the chapel
should be very close by. The buildings are marked. It is my
understanding that the welcome center area is straight ahead after turning onto
Wiggins Parkway.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto'><b>PLEASE NOTE: </b>The
management of Christian Care Center has asked us to remember that this is a
retirement and medical care facility and to please keep the motorcycle engine
